1. Hosting your images on PhotoBucket is dumb, because by the time your article reaches the front page, your “bandwidth has been exceeded” and I just lost interest completely in what it was you were trying to share.

2. Hosting your images on ImageShack is just as dumb, for the same reasons.

3. No matter what you post (i.e. “little boy stomps head of priceless rare python” to “god dammit I hate liberals soooo much”) it will always result in a liberals vs. conservatives battle. There is little or no exception to this rule. EDIT: See rule #4. Only exception.

4. If your post has anything to do with cute furry animals, there is roughly a 7% decrease in probability of the comments turning into said political shit-flinging match.

5. If your post has anything to do with video game violence, an “I hate Jack Thompson” thread war will ensue. God help you if your post (or comments) happen to side with JT.

6. If your opinion differs to that of more than 60% of the other comments on the board, you will be silenced. It’s 1984, beyotch.

7. If you are opposed to marijuana, don’t even bother commenting on marijuana stories. You will be silenced pursuant to rule #6.

8. Gun control is an extremely touchy subject. Posting about ANYTHING has a 38% chance of igniting a gun control debate.

9. People who make grammatical errors in their comments (ESPECIALLY high-horse comments) are dealt with severely, even by those who frequently perpetrate spelling mistakes themselves.

10. CASTRO IS NOT DEAD UNTIL CNN SAYS OTHERWISE. omgcommunismmustdie.blogspot.com is NOT a reputable news source.
